Flat Rock Attractions
The Flat Rock area is one of natural scenic beauty. The quaint boat houses and tranquility of Lake Summit in Tuxedo, NC are located just south of Flat Rock as are the sleepy small towns of Saluda and Tryon, NC as well as Landrum, SC. Asheville, NC is 22 miles to the north.
Carl Sandburg once called Flat Rock home as did countless wealthy Charlestonians. Many of the homes of this by-gone era remain and now boast full-time residents. After shopping Little Rainbow Row, be sure to explore the surrounding towns and visit the local attractions.
